Can I see the laser in bright sunlight?

The DISTO laser appears as a little red dot, much like a laser pointer. In bright sunlight, depending on the color of your target, it can be hard to see. To help you find the dot, the DISTO A5 and A6 include a built-in telescopic viewer. When you look through the viewer, you aim the cross hair at your target and take your measurement.  That’s it.  The sunlight isn’t a problem.

If you’re using a DISTO without a built-in telescopic viewer, we recommend the laser glasses.  The lenses are red, which makes the laser stand out like a white light. While not as good as the built-in telescopic viewer, the laser glasses definitely help. You can see them by clicking here.
