Use the "2-Foot" technique Here's how:
Step 2 feet away from the wall you are measuring.
Turn your body so that you can aim the laser at the end of the wall.
Aim the laser at the end of the wall and take the measurement
As long as you stay within 2 feet of the wall, your measurement will be accurate.
Appraisers who are using them are reporting that their measuring time has been cut in half. If a typical property takes 20 minutes, you will save 10 minutes. Multiply that by an average of 250 appraisals per year and you will save over 41 hours each year!
