This allows it to send your measurements to a Bluetooth enabled device. After you take a measurement and specify the direction of the wall, the measurement will be drawn in Apex's MobileSketch software on your Pocket PC, Tablet PC or UMPC (Tablet, Pocket PC, UMPC and MobileSketch all sold separately).

All DISTO products use "Phase-Shift Laser Technology". This technology allows these tools to be used for all of your measuring needs--outside and inside.

Do you need to aim the laser at special targets?
No. You can aim the laser at anything but a window. The following is a list of commonly used targets:
- Walls
- Doors
- Trees
- Fences
- Downspouts/Gutters
- Cars
- Boxes
- Furniture
- Anything solid will work!
How do you measure with a DISTO A6?
It's simple. Hold the DISTO A6 in your hand and aim the laser at a target. Press a button and the measurement is displayed instantly. If you need to break your long measurement into a few shorter ones, the DISTO A6 will add them together for you.
What about straight walls with no targets?
Just use the included Pythagorean function. Here's how:
- Face the wall you want to measure
- Aim the laser at one end of the wall and take the measurement
- Aim the laser at the opposite end of the wall and take the measurement
- The DISTO will display the length of the wall
